Player Assessments for
Team Placements
U10, U11 and U12 Travel Teams
2012 Assessments will Occur in May.
Dates and Format to be Announced
Team Announcements will be made by June 10th.
FCAYS uses a comprehensive coach select process where Spring coaches complete a preliminary evaluation of each player on his/her team. This list identifies players for consensus placement and/or further review for the highest level travel teams. In addition, FCAYS conducts professionally managed on-field assessments utilizing PITTSBURGH RIVERHOUNDS professional coaching services. Upon completion, coaching and professional assessment data is compiled to be reviewed by the age group commissioner, the Director of Coaching and the current age group coaches to finalize offers to be made.
Please note for rising U10 players that if your child is not selected for the highest level team that their current Saturday recreational level program will still exist for play and fun. U10 advanced plays Sunday. U10 recreation plays Saturday. All U11 and older advanced and recreation teams play on Sunday.
