Classic League (Cup):
Regional juniors development and highly competitive team programs for advanced players seeking higher level training and competition. Classic league play is the next level of training, competition and cost for the seriously minded soccer player. Programs start as young as U8 for training and U10 for league play.

The Riverhounds Academy Premier Training Program (est 2007) has a tiered structure that promotes the development of our players depending on an individuals skill level and age. As a program, the journey for a player begins at an age early of four and continues through hanging up the cleats. The training groups are instructed by current Riverhound professional players and coaches, who are responsible for the development of all boys and girls in the Academy. A major positive of the program is the ability of the instructor to show the Academy players the correct methods of performing each technical aspect of the game. This is strictly a training program. No league games are included. Some friendlies and/or tournament participation may be included.

"The US Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program is the program responsible for developing and identifying United States National Team players. PA West Soccer is one of 55 state soccer associations that participate in this program. Players selected through US Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program play for US Soccer National Youth teams and/or US Youth Soccer ODP representative teams. Annually, PA West’s Olympic Teams provide open try-outs, quality training and travel to two Region 1 Olympic Development Program events for male and female players living or playing in Western PA in the following age groups: U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U19.
